Tusindfryd (Daisy) The shawl is knitted in a round and steeked afterwards. Start knitting with double pointed needles and shift to circular needles – longer and longer – as the knitting is growing. The edges are knitted after the steeking.
Supplies: It will be desirable to have some extra yarn to have the possibility to choose among colours. If you have remains of other colours you may use them as well.
Double
pointed needles 3½ mm. Of course you can use other types of yarn for the knitting. A similar multicoloured yarn could be Evilla Artyarn or if you want to knit with a solid coloured yarn 2ply Shetland wool would be a suitable choice. After all the type of yarn does not mean much for this kind of knitting, just don’t make the knitting too solid, then the shawl will not be soft and fall beautifully. Maybe the shawl could be a project for using your stash. The upper edge of the shawl measures 220 cm and the height is 125 cm.
